YESeleven is a newly formed group of local citizens who are concerned with highway transportation needs and priorities in northern New York State.
The directors at Yeseleven wanted a site in place quickly. Their requirements included a petition that their supporters could sign. On the petition form the signers could indicate their preference to be kept informed through periodic updates. We are currently developing an email campaign targeting those signers. The directors receive an email notification each time the petition is signed.
The directors also receive an email generated by the contact form. The directors' email addresses as well as the sender's email addresses are treated with strict conficentiality and are kept safe from web mail "harvesters." Suspicous submissions are issued a "Capthcha" challenge in order to insure they are not being machine generated.
Cutomized Google Maps were created showing the potential routes of the "Rooftop Highway" that the group opposes. The maps are accessible via a flyout menu on every page.
A montage of North Country images along Route 11 add a homey element to the home page. Internal pages contain a cropped version of the montage.
